1) Introduction
This Backup Policy applies to ALL hosting services provided by Niceday Hosting. Upon registering for our services you will be asked to accept ALL of our terms and conditions which includes the advertised conditions on this policy.

2) Backups
The creation of backups remain the responsibilty of the hosting account owner at all times regardless of any backup service being purchased as an account addon.

Niceday Hosting are NOT responsible for the backing up of clients accounts.

Clients agree to create a partial or full backup of their site at least once per week and to store it on their own computer system or other storage device.

Niceday Hosting DOES supply an option within ALL cPanel accounts which allow clients to create a full or partial backup at any time. The use of this feature is NOT automated and is instead used manually by the client when a backup is required. The cPanel backup feature also includes the ability to create partial backups of mysql databases and email inboxes.

Niceday Hosting DOES supply an option within ALL cPanel accounts which allow clients to restore a previously created 'Partial' backup ONLY. Full backup files must be uploaded by Niceday Hosting.

3) Server Backups
Clients should assume that all Niceday Hosting accounts on are NOT backed up unless a weekly backup addon has been purchased.

4) Purchased Weekly Backups
Client who purchase a weekly backup plan agree that the automated server backups remain secondary to their own ongoing backup efforts. Clients acknowledge that they undertand that this service is supplied without warranty of any kind.

Clients remain 100% responsible for their own backups regardless of any backup plan being purchased.

Clients who purchase a backup plan acknowledge that any backups provided by Niceday Hosting may NOT be 100% reliable. Clienst also accept that backup may become corrupt or may NOT work for any other reason.

Weeky backups are stored on a seperate server which is supplied by a third party, As such, the terms of service advertised on their site will apply to all backup files stored on their network.

Niceday Hosting accept NO liability whatsoever for any loss of data resulting from any error or loss of service relating to the backup server or supplier.

5) Backup restoration
Any request to restore a 'full' backup for any reason other than server failure will be charged at £2 per account. This price will apply to ALL requests regardless of the backup file being supplied by Niceday Hosting OR the client.

Where no backup plan has been purchased, Clients WILL be required to supply their own backups should a server issue of any kind result in data loss. In such cases, Niceday Hosting will restore the account in its blank, default state ready for a backup to be either supplied for restoration or uploaded via cPanel.

6) Discliamer
When using any service provided by Niceday Hosting, clients agree that Niceday Hosting may NOT be held responsibe for any loss or damanges to your business where a backup has been required but has NOT been created by the client or where a backup file has become correupt or unusable. Niceday Hosting supply NO WARRANTIES whatsoever.
